چکیده

In this study, Pd/C, Cu/C, and a series of PdCu/C bimetallic electrocatalysts were prepared by microwave-assisted modified polyol method to determine glycerol electrooxidation reaction (GOR) activities. The effect microwave duration on catalyst structure GOR activity was investigated catalysts. Also, commercial Pd/C (com-Pd/C) used compare catalytic activities with samples. Electrocatalysts characterized using X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectroscopy (ICP-OES), Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) analyses. addition, the stability for examined cyclic voltammetry (CV) chronoamperometry (CA). XRD results, formation PdCu alloy observed successfully in all It found that electrocatalyst 150 s (PdCu150) exhibited homogeneous dispersion TEM images. particle size 6.45 nm PdCu150 identified from TEM. Furthermore, performance results indicated has highest (36.02 mA/cm2) compared (8.56 mA/cm2), com-Pd/C (10.23 electrooxidation.

Synthesis and characterization of Pt3Co bimetallic nanoparticles supported on MWCNT as an electrocatalyst for methanol oxidation

The impregnation method was used to synthesize Pt and Pt3Co supported on MWCNTs applying NaBH4 as the reducing agent. The structure, morphology, and chemical composition of the electrocatalysts were characterized through SEM, XRD, and EDX. X-ray diffraction showed a good crystallinity of the supported Pt nanoparticles on the composites and showed the formation of Pt3<...

detection of volatile compounds of medicinal plants with some nano-sorbents using modified or new methodologies and investigation of antioxidant activity of their methanolic extracts

in this work, a novel and fast method for direct analysis of volatile compounds (davc) of medicinal plants has been developed by holding a filament from different parts of a plant in the gc injection port. the extraction and analysis of volatile components of a small amount of plant were carried out in one-step without any sample preparation. after optimization of temperature, extraction time a...

Carbon Supported Oxide-Rich Pd-Cu Bimetallic Electrocatalysts for Ethanol Electrooxidation in Alkaline Media Enhanced by Cu/CuOx

Different proportions of oxide-rich PdCu/C nanoparticle catalysts were prepared by the NaBH4 reduction method, and their compositions were tuned by the molar ratios of the metal precursors. Among them, oxide-rich Pd0.9Cu0.1/C (Pd:Cu = 9:1, metal atomic ratio) exhibits the highest electrocatalytic activity for ethanol oxidation reaction (EOR) in alkaline media. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (...
